  1. Um -- when they kiss, their lips aren't hitting. OR -- is that SYMBOLIC??

    K Thnx.

PS -- very cool movie -- way better one to show kids than the student one that you posted first because it gets more at the significant parts -- I am wondering how we English types could wrangle some analysis or critical thinking in there -- perhaps by having kids watch one another's and then explain WHY the creator included what he did... I am still thinking. How long did it take you? I don't have time to learn new things (hee hee).

  2. K- Oh yeah, that non-connecting kiss is definitely on purpose.

It didn't take me long at all- worked on it in class while my kids were doing a timed writing, just trying to figure out the ins and outs of it.

I am thinking they could write their own reasoning behind each scene choice maybe? Explain why it was included, what is so important about that piece- I tried to make the plot summary things happen in the transition slides, showing that wasn't the focus. There would definitely have to be some sort of formal writing piece that went along with it.... maybe that's the part you create for it and I just get to play with cartoons :~)
